About Me
I have been working in the Web industry since 2001 where I took over the running of a friends website (www.alpsdriving.co.uk) while I was completing my Degree.
Soon after I was approached, along with my fellow students, by the Premier League to design and build a website that could allow the young academy players to access course materials online. This served as my work experience for my degree.
The Premier League invited us to continue working on the site after the degree was completed and Nescot gave us the means to do this by providing a room, equipment etc. A company was setup, e-perfex, and from that other clients were established including Aim Higher Surrey and Sartorius.
After several fantastic years working with the e-perfex team I moved to O2 as a Web Developer on their internal systems team. I worked mainly with ASP 2.0 and SQL Server developing sections of the VitalO2 intranet and Your Companion knowledge base system used by the sales staff in O2 shops.
A Year later I decided I wanted to work more on front end projects and moved to AOL as a Web Producer. I worked mainly on creating micro sites for external clients that sat within the channels on AOL's portals. I then moved up to Web Technologist working across AOL's European portals, mainly UK, France and Germany.
